What is the difference between the member and wholesale price?

If you are a Contractor Warehouse Member, you will enjoy our cost pricing as we make our margin through the membership fee. If you don't think you'll buy enough to make the membership fee worthwhile, you can pay our wholesale prices which are still considerably cheaper than other prices around.

Do I have to be a member to shop at C/W?

You do not have to be a member to shop at Contractor Warehouse, however if you're doing a project, you'll find that being a member is by far the best option for greatest savings.

I'm looking for a specific product but don't see it here, can C/W still source it?

Absolutely. We will work for you during the term of your project to find different materials or products that we don't stock. There is no extra cost for this service.

Once I have C/W membership, can my electrican and plumbers shop as well?

Yes, your subs such as plumbers and electricians do not need their own membership. They can piggy back off your membership.

Can I buy as much as I want as a member?

You may buy as much as you need for your project. For example, if you are building a 30 unit building, you may purchase 33 unit entry doors (10% more than required). We will certainly be flexible. The main reason for this is to discourage a developer from buying 1 membership and sourcing enough product for the next building as well. Our system knows approximately how much of each product you will require for your building and will flag your account if you try to order more.

Our project is located no-where near your warehouse, can I still order?

Yes. We have had a number of clients in different provices place orders. Depending on the product we can drop ship right to your job site. Contact us for more details.

I'm just building a duplex, can I still save money?

Yes, of course! Use our quote system to see if there are any savings to be had. If so, join Contractor Warehouse and lets start putting our experience to work for you.

Are these prices correct? They seem too good.

Our system automagically updates the prices weekly based on exchange rates. Shipping rates are more difficult to predict and as a result, the pricing of your custom (non-stock) orders may fluctuate (up or down) a few percent. Once we re-order our stock items, the price may change as well. Your price is locked in once your order is confirmed and paid.

When do I pay for my product?

In order to keep the prices at cost, we operate on a cash/carry basis. Product must be paid in full before it be picked up (or delivered). Payment can be by cheque, e-transfer or credit card (subject to 2.5% surcharge). Custom ordered products such as cabinets or stone tops require a 50% deposit on order and 50% balance payment upon leaving the factory.
